This CRKT knife is a Tactical Combat Knife. I would not consider it an EDC due to the design of the reverse curve blade geometry, its size and weight. This knife is not the assisted open version. This knife does open with one hand very quickly using the thumb stud. Comparing this to other assisted open knives it opens just as fast. It locks up solid and requires a lever button to be thumbed while pushing the liner lock. So closing it requires some dexterity, coordnation and hand strength. The handle is G10 and it is very rough and grippy. It does not easily slide in and out of the pocket on jeans and most likely would wear you pocket quickly. The jimping on the handle and blade offers very good finger grip. The finger choils fit my large hands very well. the blade is AUS 8 and it is hollow ground and will hold an edge well. Blade thickness is .140". The pocket clip is at the end of the knife where the blade pivots and I prefer it at the other end. It is well made and has a solid feel to it. You can Google search and the CRKT web page for this knife will come up for more information. I collect knives and this was a great bargain and it is a definite keeper.

Great quality knife. No assisted opening which it should have per CRTK's website. Are these 2nds?

This is a sweet knife. A big knife built with the CRKT quality you expect. The grip is amazing a the auto-lawks is another CRKT feature to love. The blade is stout and sharp. Buy one now as these are oop and getting harder to find in the retail market. The STP price is a steal too.
