really love this wool jersey. Fits like a glove and is a great base layer for skiing with thumb loops to keep your sleeves from pulling up.

Fit great, but the color was too dull to be considered pretty. It was dull and more of a muted brown/maroon? It just wasn't worth keeping.

i own other smartwool products, but i am expecially not pleased with this one - it has a tight itchy neckline, the zipper opens at an odd angle that does not provide ventilation. the taped seams feel like they could cut your skin. i could not wear it for five minutes. ugh. this one goes back

Unfortunately, this top looked nothing like the photo when I pulled it out of the package. The contoured seams across the sleeves and torso are sewn in BLACK thread, which not only cheapens the appearance of the top, but turned me off of ever wearing it by itself. The "lightweight" wool also did not have the soft hand of my mid weight Smartwool. It felt papery and almost rough. The top was thin enough to be see-through, so I feel it is best used as a base layer unless you are comfortable letting a shimmel or sports bra show. The apparent roughness and transparency may have been reduced by laundering the top to let the wool tighten up a little, but I didn't want to take the chance of not being able to return it. I liked the higher neck and thumbholes, but in the end, this one went back. It did have a long, lean fit, and was true to my street wear size (I'm a solid women's XS at 5'7" with a 33" bust measurement and 26" waist, and ordered the size S because I didn't want it to be skin tight like thermals; instead, it was borderline baggy). I hope this will be helpful to someone who can overlook the tacky contrast stitching!
