I bought several different brands of ski socks, including Smartwool, Larpen and Icebreaker. I bought light and mid weights, as I use them not only for skiing and snowshoeing but also on winter bike rides. In winter I wear skisocks almost every day. The Icebreaker Ski+ Mid socks are the best socks I have ever owned. I bought several pairs, and I have worn them dozens of times while the others I bought remain sitting in my drawer. They're also incredibly durable.

These are a much sloppier and loose feel than my Smartwool ski socks. They stretch out significantly each time I wear them. The warmth is good, but the fit is poor compared to the Smartwool equivalant, which after trying many different brands has proven to be the best in every way.
