I like that the long length is long enough since I have long legs for my height. The belt that comes with them is nice. I didn't think I would like it, but it makes for a neater look.

They are quite flexible and move with you--such a different fabric. The belt clasp is well-made and has two snaps on the waistband as well. The three pockets have zippers and all seem to be of good quality, moving up and down smoothly. I took a walk in the snow when it was 28 degrees. I was unbelievably warm with a base layer underneath. I think these can easily be used for snow tubing, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing with a base layer. I will definitely use these for hiking and kayaking. They are available in lengths--I'm 5'2" and the short fit perfectly. The ankle narrows at the bottom but I was able to get my thick Khombu boots underneath! I will be buying more of this brand. Go Scandinavia!!!

I thought if I bought a size up I could wear in the snow with a good base layer. I tried them out today and was unbelievably warm and dry. However, it's only 28 degrees out. They are good-looking and very comfortable--they move with you. The pockets are an added plus for phone, keys, pedometer, etc. An added bonus is that they come in lengths! I am going to order the insulated ones in my size. I would highly recommend these. The Swedes know how to do cold!
