Bought these for my son for work. They are really good looking boots and he was pleased HOWEVER... STP recommended going up in size so I ordered an 11 instead of his usual 10.5 (he can sometimes wear a 10). They were too big. I reordered the 10.5 and they are perfect. I would not recommend these to anyone, they are fairly comfortable, but poor quality for the money. First pair blew out on the side after about three weeks (being worn only indoors) and Sierra Trading Post did let me trade them in...Should have gotten a different brand. Next pair lasted about six months, but then the right one blew out on top of my toes...so it goes. I guess I will not be buying this brand again.

I followed the instructions and ordered a half-size bigger (which means I ordered the same size as I wear in Asics). That seemed a bit large/sloppy as I could fit my index finger behind my heel. So I ordered a half-size smaller and felt the box impinging on my right pinky knuckle. I am mystified why such a broad-looking box is narrow inside, but there it is. Also fogged as to why a work boot/shoe with steel toes would have plastic eyelets. I expect a good pair of boots to last 10+ years, but I don't think the eyelets will last, especially in abusive outdoor work.
