My dog actually prefers this toy over her tennis balls. She doesn't chew on it to tear it apart, but mouths it, which I think benefits her teeth - yey!     My dog actually prefers this toy over her tennis balls. She doesn't chew on it to tear it apart, but mouths it, which I think benefits her teeth - yey! However, I don't know why a dog toy manufacturer thinks vanilla is a good flavor for dog toys. I don't think my dog knows what vanilla is. I would prefer a toy without weird, human scents.

    This is a firm product. So it will be hard for smaller dogs to use.

    My dog (a 50lb lab mix) destroyed this in less than two minutes. It's called a small dog toy, and maybe it's meant for smaller dogs, but I think smaller dogs would have a hard time getting their mouths around it. (It was slightly larger than a tennis ball.)

    She really enjoyed it for those two minutes, though.
