Heh. Nicely manufactured sox, but it apparently takes a larger heel than mine to keep them from slipping off while running.

These are the best socks - comfortable, no annoying seams, perfect fit.
Buying them from Sierra Trading Post I got them for less than 50% of what I would pay the local running shop!

I'm training to run my first marathon and all those extra miles were doing a number on my feet. Specifically I was having tenderness and swelling where the seam on my socks was rubbing my toes. I visited tons of stores and felt the seams on all their socks. All of them, even at $10 and $12 per pair, had a fat, lumpy seam. Thankfully a friend recommended the Balega socks. After purchasing five pairs in my first order, and loving them, I have purchased another dozen pairs in assorted colors. I am cleaning out my sock drawer and getting rid of the socks that hurt me. I especially love that these socks come in narrower size categories than other socks I've looked at--this ensures a better fit, and my feet are grateful!

It fits a woman's foot really well. No worries about it bunching up.

Best fit and comfort of any sock (IMO).
