    This sweater was surprisingly soft for a wool sweater. It would be very warm and get plenty of use in a colder climate. But living here in sunny southern CA I don't think I'll use it enough to justify the price. It's just a little to retro for me.

    These sweaters are a near-perfect godsend! The fabric is warm but lightweight, and the colors match all of my winter pants. The only suggestion I would make is that Woolrich add a bit more spandex to the fabric so that it keeps its shape better. I tend to push up my sleeves, and I noticed that when I pulled them down, they had stretched out of shape. Otherwise, these are great sweaters.

    I bought two of these for layering. They wash well. The necks is not too tight or high, the fabric is not scratchy or too heavy, and they are long enough to tuck into jeans to keep my back covered and warm as well.

    I ordered the sweater to wear as strictly weekend or sports wear. but the fabric is so nice, it can easily be worn with dress pants and skirts.
