Light enough for 3 season wear and inside summer events. Hickey Freeman provides a great fit for me (44R). When I took it to my tailor to have the sleeves taken up a bit, she dropped her usual reserve and commented favorably on its fit and construction. The HFs that Sierra offers are from the Lindsey line, which means they have half canvas construction, rather than the full canvas of the Mahogany line. But, unless you get very luck to catch one of those on sale and in your size, the main line sport coats will cost you several hundred north of $1,000. But get one of these during a STP promotion and you are getting great quality at a very fair price.
