Reviewed by WoolyWearer from San Luis Obispo, CA on Thursday, February 07, 2013I am a fan of the midweight Smartwool base layers and I have returned all the other microweight base layers on account of they simply do not offer enough warmth for the price you pay for them. This one was the exception because it was the red/black striped and I happen to like the design for a casual undershirt over a T-shirt or things like that. Still offers basically no warmth with the 150g/m^2 just not doing it for me. Do yourself a favor and spend the same amount on the midweight (250g/m^2) if you can manage to find these grossly overpriced woolens on sale (I say this after buying MANY smartwool products. The products they make that I do like are truly worth the dollars spent).
