Love the shoes, HATE the color. Dyed them in RIT dye in boiling water! Bought 3 pair. Dyed one pair tan, one pair olive green, and one pair chartreuse (I love greens).

Gotta love Dansko! The Pippa is very, very cute with the laser cutout design. They have lots of support in all the right places for my feet. I got them in blue and in a 39 (I wear a 8.5M). They fit perfectly and are very comfortable with a pair of very light socks. All the girls coo over them and I've had many compliments. I've even worn them out in the rain ... of course your feet get wet, but where we live, that is often inevitable... they stayed on very well, even climbing stairs and steep ramps (in the rain).

I have 2 pair of these and often wear them all day at work- (RN; running around a lot).
When I get home at the end of the day, I keep them on, because my feet are so comfy in them.
True to size; strong construction, very comfortable with good support.
People seem to love the lacy open look, which is great for ventilation in the warm weather, but I anticipate being able to wear them with socks as the temps
drop. On top of all that, the price is beyond right !

I bought these shoes for work. I wear them for 12 hours at a stretch and they always feel great. I am wearing the equivalent of a size 11 while I usually wear a 10, but the little extra room makes for a great fit.

I love Danskos, but I need to accept that most of them just don't fit my foot. I ordered a size 39 for my 8 1/2 size foot. The length fit perfectly, but they were just too narrow for me. The design cut into my foot and was not comfortable.

I have owned several pairs of Dansko and love them all. I like the material. It is indoor/outdoor. Can wear them anywhere and are the excellent quality you would expect from Dansko.

  • Question “Can I wear them around the pool? Are they non slip and could resist getting wet?”
Asked on 8/6/2014 11:23:55 PM by Natalia from California
    • Answer Yes to wearing around the pool. They are made of synthetic materials and the soles have a grip pattern and appear to be indestructible. I haven't worn my on any wet surface yet, but I think they would be safe. If this helps, the soles are like all Danskos--hard material rather than softer like athletic shoes.

    • Answer They can get wet. The footbed might need to dry out. They have the usual Dansko platform, while not really slippery on the bottom, I would not wear them at the pool. I broke an ankle in a sliding fall and I don't even wear heels unless it is absolutely flat ground. A braver, heel adapted person might be fine in them at the pool.

    • Answer Yes, they are sturdy and comfortable. They should bot be effected by getting wet.

    • Answer I wear mine in the yard when there's heavy dew, when its raining & poolside. If they get dirty, I just rinse off with hose or in the sink. I don't have issues with slippage.

    • Answer They seem like they would be water resistant. The upper feels like a nice quality plastic and the bottom seems like it's also a plastic type material. I've never worn them when it was wet, so I can't say if they are non slip. They are very nice quality, like all the Danskos.

  • Question “Just bought a pair. I really like them but a little snug. Do they stretch at all?”
Asked on 7/21/2013 8:38:23 PM by Kathy the buyer from Calif.
    • Answer Since the upper is Thermo-plastic rubber I do not believe they will stretch any.
