Central Indiana winters are typically 30-35 degrees and very wet. Parkas are way too much most of the time - and rain coats are more for spring or fall. This coat does the job and very well. It's quite comfortable - I feel like I'm wearing a light coat - not a rain coat - and I have enough room to wear a fleece underneath when the temperature dips into the single digits and teens.

And rain - the Indiana winter wet (rain, freezing rain, wet snow) sometimes with 15-30 mph winds will chill you to the bone - and that's why I bought this. So far - so awesome. I've had it for a couple weeks and already have worn it in semi-heavy rain, sleet, and last Monday was 38 and mist - at least my upper half was dry :)

I'm 5'10" and about 190 - and the large fits well with room - the sleeves are a little long - which I like - there is a Velcro wrap to pull them back on your wrists. The hood is insulated which I like a whole lot (since I'm bald) and really protects from the ice and cold rain.

This jacket is exactly what I was looking for. It is very light, surprisingly warm and completely waterproof. I typically wear an XL and the XL fits fine

This is a great coat. I've actually not used it outdoors yet, but the fit and quality is great. Looking forward to seeing if DryQ Elite is all it is cracked up to being.

It is light, yet rugged. Blocks out strong wind. It keeps you dry and warm. It fits as expected. I am very please with my jacket!

As described. Looks good, light weight insulation, so will be good for layering with a fleece or a vest. Can't review the perfromance since it's not winter yet. Will update after I've had a chance to use it some. It appears to be a great jacket for a great Sierra Trading price. Shipped quickly.
