Lite and roomy (for any required additional clothes for warmth). Good looking with a collar that keeps the wind out. A versatile, water and wind resistant jacket.

Bought this for my son who currently wears a youth 14. It's too big of course, but not impossibly so, and it will fit him awhile. It's long, which is good for his build--things always get too short, too fast. He loves it.

I like it if I wanted a shell, but this is a shell. I thought from the picture it would have a little more insulation. It looks great, but not what I had pictured. For some people it would probably be great, but not for me. Don't feel like the hassle of returning it still sitting with the tags on it.

The jacket is light for its size since it extends longer than a regular jacket and is comfortable to wear. Like other commenters, the hood is a little bit big so you will need to wear a hat with it. I haven't had many opportunities to try it out in bad weather since it is near summer now though.

Spring snowboarding in VA can be very wet! This jacket fit perfect and has kept me dry ..so far. the vent zippers allowed me to remain cool on a 65 degree day.
