I used this coat last week ice fishing and it was perfect. It kept the wind and the cold out, yet it was lightweight enough to let you move unrestricted. Its a great coat from a great store!

The jacket is light for its size since it extends longer than a regular jacket and is comfortable to wear. Like other commenters, the hood is a little bit big so you will need to wear a hat with it. I haven't had many opportunities to try it out in bad weather since it is near summer now though.

Lite and roomy (for any required additional clothes for warmth). Good looking with a collar that keeps the wind out. A versatile, water and wind resistant jacket.

Spring snowboarding in VA can be very wet! This jacket fit perfect and has kept me dry ..so far. the vent zippers allowed me to remain cool on a 65 degree day.

Pros: This coat is well made and has lots of pockets. I bought it because it has sleeves that unzip at the armpit down around 12". I like how the hood lays flat. Good windbreaker. Extra long to keep wind from blowing up your back.

Cons: The insulation in the coat is really thin. The coat is only as warm as what you are wearing underneath. Even with the sleeves unzipped moisture was still captured in the sleeves which means it doesn't breath. Because of the coats body length, I wish the main zipper was 2 way so it would open up from the bottom. I need to unzip the whole jacket to access the fly in my pants. The pockets are also hard to access and are tight where they open so it is hard to get items into them.

Depending on what you plan on doing while wearing this jacket will determine how happy you are with this coat. For me, walking in 0 degree F, it's not the coat I was hoping for. I still have to layer more than I want because of the lack of insulation. I wish I had sent it back. Because of the non-2 way zipper I probably won't wear it much even when it warms up. I'll keep it for a rainy day.

Wasn't sure...never tried this brand before. But WOW, what a great discovery. State of the art design and technology, with tons of pockets and features. COmfortable and not overly noisy.
