Great jacket. Fitting is true to size and does have room to layer a light down sweater if needed. Fabric is soft and very comfortable. The front of the hood has a wire that keeps its form. I love that feature. It's has a very flattering fit.

Could not believe this material would be waterproof when I first got it. Well, it proved me wrong. Totally waterproof, super light and pretty! For temps below 30 use it as a shell over layers. Above that, it does it all for you.

I have been trying to find a weatherproof but comfortable raincoat for quite awhile. I finally found the perfect one! The outer shell is really soft, almost velvety. It is extremely comfortable and flexible with every move. I am 5'6" tall and weigh 165 lbs. I probably could have fit in a L but I ordered an XL because I wanted to have plenty of room for layers underneath. The XL gives me plenty of room for layers without restricting my movement, The sleeves are a little long but there is velcro on the cuffs so if I tighten the velcro the sleeves stay in place at my wrists. The back is long enough so that I think the rain will fall off and not get the back of my pants all wet. The hood is a little large but there is a cord that allows you to adjust the hood so you can make it fit whatever kind of headwear you have on. The seams are fully sealed but there are pit zips so you don't get soaked in your own sweat. All in all it seems to be a perfect raincoat. I bought the bright color and it is a salmony color. Who wants to wear black on a rainy, dreary day? I wish I had this coat with me on my trip to Iceland last year. I wore an older Gortex coat and was soaked to the skin.
