Light-weight, but very warm. Perfect fit.

Great design and fit are sadly negated by the lack of warmth of this coat. At 32 degrees, with a sweater on underneath I was still cold. Not at all as described as a parka. Sadly I returned it even though the fit was great and the color unique and stylish. Mountain Hardware should do better than this!

It's just OK. Nothing to brag about. Not nearly as flattering on as shown in the pictures. Nice and lightweight, though.

I like the coat. It is a great color. Like the lines, although it is a little snug for a large. I can't wear anything heavy under it. I get lots of compliments on it and love the length. The zipper is wimpy and it is hard to get zipped up sometimes. Good coat for the price but I never would have paid full price for it.

Love the fit, true to size. Perfect length, not too short or too long. Covers backside nicely. Extremely lightweight, and packs well. It is extremely comfortable and fashionable on a snowy day, or just a cool day.

  • Question “Can you use this for skiing. I have noticed a few women out on the slope with longer coats.”
Asked on 1/4/2013 12:00:00 AM by Jeanne from Park City, Utah
    • Answer I wouldn't try it for skiing. Seems a little long unless you are very tall. I am 5'3" and it hits just above the knee. It's also not that warm unless of course it's a sunny blue bird day in the upper 30's. I would also be afraid of tearing the fabric. The nylon is on the light side. But this is still an awesome jacket for around town or after skiing to get cozy in!
