When I hear hoody I think of a thing of comfort and space. This is an athletic fit with a tight fitting hood. Don't get me wrong I love this Item and have put it to use as a baselayer when I ice climb. Great fit and a great buy.

I am 6ft, 220 lbs with an arm-length of 32 inches. My chest is 44 inches. This a light fleece for temps down to 50 degrees. The material stretches and the jacket itself is an athletic fit. I bought this jacket in an XL and for me the fit is perfect. You can wear a tee-shirt under it with little to no bunching. This is for runners or can be used as a light base layer jacket. It is not a mid-layer jacket. When you wash it, turn it inside-out and zip it up. I would recommend that you wash it by itself. The jacket is not windproof or water resistant!

Very nice lightweight jacket perfect for the cool Phoenix Arizona mornings. I have not had it in the north country, but would not imagine it would keep you too warm on those colder days 40ish. This would be a great backpack jacket for hiking in those "not so cold" areas. I gave it the five stars for its design and appearance and for the functionality in warmer weather.
