I bought two of these in the square size earlier this year and they seem to be working extremely well. I have potatoes in one (all four sections) and the other is now home to a group of assorted pepper plants. I'm very pleased so far as the only place in my yard with good sun for growing things is a large concrete RV pad I no longer use for that purpose. I have some wooden planters but they get expensive fast, so these are a great solution. In addition, you don't have to bend over as far. I bought this one as a gift, as I liked it so much.

First, these hold way too much soil. Each one takes at minimum the biggest soil 2 cu foot bag, plus most of another 2 cu foot bag. Second, without the wicker support baskets, these in my opinion are useless. They're planted, and my plants are doing okay. BUT, every morning I go out and the bags have sagged in a new direction, leaving big AIR POCKETS in the soil in the middle of the bag. That exposes the plant root to air and direct sun until I can get it redistributed. This happens especially if we've had any rain overnight. I really regret buying these.

Too early to plant so won't have specific comments about performance for a few months. First, they are very very big. The pepper/tomato one will hold a 20 cu ft bag of soil and about 4 giant plants. Second, I want these on cement patio surround, and hope the color doesn't bleed. Third, they have no structure to hold their shape, so it will be like pouring dirt into a plastic trash bag, they will get blobby and saggy, resulting in careful watering or the soil will spill over the top as the sides collapse.
