I recently had bunion removed (4 screws inserted in big toe as a result) and hammer toe shortened. I bought these shoes because of sale price, brand reputation and review that identified a "wide toe box" I'm am not disappointed. My recovery from foot surgery has been expedited because of these shoes... Read More

Nicely padded and stable shoe. Very comfortable. Ordered 1/2 size larger than my regular size as suggested but was still to small. Returned for a full size larger which fit great.

Comfortable right out of the box. Wide, flat and stable. Not as grippy on muddy trails as the burlier Montrail Rockridge shoe, but for gravel roads and dry trails they are outstanding. This is my second pair, which I ordered after wearing the first pair for 8 or 10 runs, and realizing that when they wore out I would be devastated if I did not have a backup. Do order half a size up. It's true they run a little small.

This is the third pair of Montrail shoes that I have had not all the same style, but they all are the most comfortable shoe of this type that I have ever worn. They are light, well constructed, and give great support and stability. Hope STP keeps carrying them!

Ultra light weight, fits well, good looking, pick half size up compare to your dress shoes. It's designed for trail running, truly it is. Price for the value, very happy with it.

I was bummed when I heard the Montrail Badrock was discontinued. Montrail informed me that the Fairhaven is
built around the same shoe last as as Badrock. Tried it and love it, even more than the Badrock. It's more road/trail hybrid than Badrock
& not as gnarly grips but a little lighter and lower to the ground. Now if Montrail discontinues Fairhaven, I may have to take up knitting or scapebooking and throw in the towel with running...
