I love fresh nutmeg and allspice in many things. this mill is perfect for these types of things. the interior claw works wonderfully.

    Fresh nutmeg smells so good! The grinder is primarily plastic but it still doesn't feel cheap. I think it will last for quite a while.

    I couldn't fit an entire nutmeg in side and then get the device screwed back together, so I put in a partially used nutmeg, and with some effort, managed to get the lid back on. It wasn't easy, but it does work really well.

    more than ample space for your smaller spices, might try one with allspice in it. Practical & worth the money.
