Nice boots but the 12's are 46 1/2's which are NOT us 12's. US 12's should be a 45 and sometimes a 45.5. I wear a measured 12 in every shoe I own, Returning these for 11.5's which may still be too big. Otherwise a nice mid-quality boot that should serve for our winters.

Looks well made, will see what the hubby says but was expecting "fur" inside for warmth. It's like a felt material, probably wool but not what was expected. Ordered two of these for sizing so will be sending one back and hopefully keeping the other even though it's not what I thought I odereed. description is misleading.

I have had these for about two weeks and found them to be very comfortable. I love how light they are and the leather is fairly supple. They are dressy enough for a casual business atmosphere but rugged enough for medium duty outdoor use. I have never had wool line boots and that seems to be a good material for a variety of temperatures. I have worn them in temps below freezing and to70F comfortably so far. The soles are not the most rugged, but that is a trade off for having a more compliant and comfortable sole. Size seems true to fit our maybe a little small.

I used them last winter in snow and slush conditions and didn't notice any leaking.

I love these boots but you will get water through the vents.

I am pretty sure that they would leak if the boot was submerged for more than a couple of seconds. The wool lining would wick away some of the moisture, but I would not recommend these boots for any water usage that you would not take a pair of leather tennis shoes in. Also, the tongue is not gusseted, so any amount of water above the souls would most likely make its way into the boot one way or another.
I hope this helps.
