Really like this jacket. Although it is not interchange compatible, it still fits great over my ballistic fleece for the low 20ºF Nights. But still fits just right on the high 60ºF drizzle days. The stand uo collar is tall enough to cover my chin and the inside of outer pockets feels great. I wil... Read More

Living in the PNW, our family needs a good waterproof coat. This is perfect, waterproof, not bulky, and keeps you warm. Got one for all of us including mom.

The jacket seems to be of very nice quality, and a real bargain from STP. However, the large while fitting quite well across the shoulders and chest, has far to much material around the torso for a slim build like mine. Also with the long length, hangs kind of like a gunny sack. I am 6 ft. 159 lbs. A medium would probably be the correct size, however none are available. I am returning the jacket.

comfortable and not crinkly like a lot of more technical jackets. I would not reccommend this for hiking. the breathability is marginal and you get clammy quickly. looks good and I tend to grab this if it looks like rain when going out. haven't tried it in summer heat as a rain jacket yet but imagine it is too warm. I'm scrolling for the omni dry here and if I find one might return this under STP's great warranty.

The Columbia Rain Tech II Omni-Heat®-Omni-Tech Waterproof Jacket has quickly become my favorite mid weight jacket. I call it mid weight because it's more than a shell. The pit zips work well during/after periods of exertion and the hood has several adjustments to make it fit better. It's long waisted and has an elastic draw-cord to keep warm air from being expelled from the bottom.

I first ordered a large and rechecked the size chart. I was afraid it would be too loose so I emailed my concerns (in less than an hour of ordering). The awesome customer service folks sent a reply that they would change my size to medium and they shipped the medium. 2 days later it came and was a bit tight so I exchanged it for the large. The exchange was seamless and simple. This excellent customer service is in agreement with all of my past dealings with Serra Trading Post, That is of course why they are my first go-to when I am looking to purchase out-door items. don't like the cold but I am out-of-doors as much as I can be. Most of my best out door and camping stuff is from Serra Trading Post. My thanks and deepest regards to the professional and dedicated staff in customer service, you are the ones that make Serra Trading Post a great place to shop.

Fit is a bit snug on my XL frame. Nice features. Haven't tested the waterproofness yet.
