Bought the White and Grey Sno-Camo looking jacket because of the size availabilty and price as well as desire to have the Omni-Heat feature which made sense. I live in NH now after moving from upstate NY and the winters are cold. My old Columbia had no Pit-Zips and was at time too warm, so I decided to get this one with all of the features one needs, pit-zips, omni-heat liner, removable hood and ample pockets. After my first few days of wearing the jacket, I noticed my back was cold against the chairlift back on the ride up as compared to my old jacket. I only wear a ski thermal by Under Armor underneath but it wasn't sufficient in weather in the teens with this jacket. As the temps increased in the coming days, no problems were noted and almost had to use the pit-zips but didn't and was nice to know for spring skiing this will be an option. The jacket is lightweight and comfortable to ski in and if you go off trail they won't find you for days with the Camo pattern, it does make you almost invisible against the snow covered trees in the woods and on the slopes. Gets a few head turns! I like it because no one else has this jacket that I've seen on the slopes but if someone is looking for you they may not see you! lol All in all, I think now that I have worn the jacket consistantly, and know how to adapt to the weather conditions with it, it will be my favorite.

Just purchased the White camo looking jacket and wore it for the past two ski days, the Jacket is lightweight and functional and as far as the color, you don't want to get lost in the woods, I swear it disappears into the en\vironment, luckily my helmet is bright enough. I purchased this one because my other Columbia jacket didn't breathe or have zips under the arms to cool you down. The old jacket was warmer, as this Omni-heat may keep you warm while skiing after you've built up temp, but on the lift the cold chairlift penetrates right through the back. I usually wear only a thin ski thermal under my jacket so it was definitely noticeable both days with teen temps. I suppose all will be good with a thicker layer underneath. I like the jacket overall and happy with the purchase, just have to adjust for the thickness of materials, but it does breath and pit zips are an option if too warm. Removed the hood which my other jacket was attached. Good buy for the price.

I bought this jacket thinking that I'll really get into snowsports and after going out just once with it, I have a feeling that I'll keep if for quite a while. Since it was my first time snowboarding, I was on the ground quite a bit and landing pretty hard at that. This coat held up pretty well to that abuse alone. On top of that, the weather was awful, around 40* and raining all day. Water beaded up and just rolled off the coat and given how hot it was, I took off some base layers to cool down and was still really comfortable in just this jacket and a tshirt. TL;DR Durable Lots of pockets Waterproof Warm (essentially a shell with a modest amount of insulation but would work in much colder weather with appropriate base layers)

Love this jacket! It looks so nice I wear it out and about even though I bought it for snow mobile riding. Wore it out a few days ago in 10 degree weather. We ended up on top of a mountain where the wind was whipping and the temp was much lower than 10 and I stayed very comfortable. I was wearing a long sleeve t shirt and a sweat shirt under it. It has a ton of pockets located in all the right places and most of them are very roomy. Small pocket on the sleeve is a nice touch! Seems to be sized right my hubby and I both got our normal size. Overall, very sharp looking and functional jacket. Highly recommend.

    • Answer Sorry there is not a temperature rating. Most manufacturers do not have temperature ratings for their garments or footwear due to the number of factors that affect how warm a garment may keep you.
