This jacket fits the bill. Warm, not too heavy and a great price. Bought one for each of my boys. Confident they will be warm enough in the winter.

Husband is not even the tallest (~6'1") and I wish this jacket would be longer in body (arm length is perfect) on him. Please consider making the same jacklet in tall sizes. I am considering to return this jacket.

Cannot beat the price either. I am not a fan of the hood, restricts vision some when drawn to block wind; however, the hood is very warm so it is a minor inconvenience. This jacket/coat also regulates my temperature very well whether indoors or out.

Question “I first tried a marmot 650 filled down extra large. It was too large and a large was not available. Will the Columbia jacket #5552y large fit me? Depending on the quality of garments I wear a large if high quality or extra large in a lesser quality garment. what size should I try in columbia jackets #5552Y or #5552D .....ah ah I do have a little belly.”
