This is only for the sizing. I'm 6'4" 235" with suit size 46L. I ordered the XL and fits nicely. Remember this is a ski shell jacket which is designed to be worn over a midlayer if not a down jacket. there is enough room to wear my down jacket with no problem. If you are going to wear this jacket over a thin layer, you may consider going a size down. My shirt arm length is 36-37 and jacket arms are long enough. I could use 1-2" more length on the length of the jacket but it's not bad at all as is.

Material is good quality, pockets are well-placed. Other reviewers are right, the hood is designed to cover the helmet. Didn't check if it could but not planning to use it anyways.

Now waiting for the ski season to really test the waterproofness and breathability.

Just received this jacket and have only tried it on indoors. First, the jacket does appear to be very well made using Gore-Tex(r) Pro and has a lot of useful features. My only hesitancy is the fit. I am 6'1" and 210 lbs. With jackets, I am usually a L or XL depending on the cut of the jacket. I ordered a Large and there is more than enough rooms for layers underneath. In fact, the best way to describe the fit for me is baggy. When reading the Outdoor Research product tag on the jacket I noticed that they use the description "relaxed fit" which seems accurate to me. I will probably keep the jacket, just wish it wasn't so loose fitting.

Living in the Pacific Northwest there have been rainy hikes when Gore-Tex Pro has kept me dry when my hiking buddies jackets water resistant fabric can't keep up with an extended storm.

The jacket does run large. I usually wear a medium but based on other reviews, I ordered the small which fits my 5'9" 150 lbs. frame well. The jacket itself is lightweight and not heavily insulated. The design allows ease of movements of arms and is not restrictive.

This jacket has the fit I was looking for! I am 6' 4" and 205 #, so am always looking for jackets with a longer cut sleeve and body. This is my first OR jacket in many years, as I have been using Arcteryx for a while. There are brands with tall sizes that sometimes fit pretty good, but usually the sleeves are an issue for me. I ski 100+ days a year and give my gear a workout. I got an XL size in the red color and it fits good in the body with good length in the torso. It is even a little large for me, but that gives room for mid-layers. I probably could wear a large, but will keep this one. It has a drop-back hem, so plenty of coverage. Powder skirt is good, pockets really nice. The vents are kind of weird for me, as all my other jackets have various lengths of pit-zips. The sleeves are remarkably long for a regular size jacket. They fit well over my gloves and do not ride up with movement. I have not yet tried it on the slopes, but with Gore Pro, I am not worried about the performance of the fabric. I will report back after I have given it a try on the slopes.
