These fit well and the built in belt gave the extra adjustment needed for a custom fit waistband. Very flattering with all the pockets on his thinner build. Will order more!

He usually wears a 34, but following advice from other reviewers - I got him a 36 - perfect loose fit. Can wear with or without belt. Back pockets look cooler than pics when worn. Looking forward to years of wear!

I was attracted to construction which makes them much more comfortable than traditional pants. The downside of the early models was the lack of a zipper fly. The Mountain Jeans address this issue. I've only worn these particular jeans a few times, but have to say they continue the Gramicci tradition of comfort and durability. My only complaint was fit, as related to size. I ordered a 34" waist, 32" inseam, my usual size. Again, I've worn Gramicci pants for years and that size has always fit me. All my other pants are also that size. I'm of average build and usually wear loose cut jeans. With that said, the first time I tried them, before I washed them, I found them quite snug. Especially in the upper leg and seat. I ended up exchanging them for a 36", which fit more the way I expected. So perhaps this particular model runs about a size small. FYI: Sierra made the exchange process easy, quick and smooth.
