I have a B.P.S. 7'11" Heat 9wt. rod and the fit is perfect. The case is well padded and has a hard plastic protective end cap. It is very well made and should last for many years.

Needed a case that would let me keep my reel mounted on my fly rod. Thus one fills the bill! I now have my Winston Rod with Orvis Reel in a Sage case ... oh well, it works for me! Quality case at a great price.
