I bought these for my 8 year old daughter and sized down one size and they are still a little big but, will work just fine with thick socks. My only concern is that the buckles came unbuckled the first few steps she wore them. I am going to have to do something to keep them looped through because it's too late to return them.

I ordered a size 6 for my daughter in college. She wears a women's size 8. She was wearing them at the mall and a person went out of their way to compliment the boots and inquire where she purchased them. The boots have a nice insole, soft comfy leather, the wool felt is thick and sturdy. These are great boots for Wisconsin's and Minnesota's winter.

Purchased these for my daughter. She loves them. She says that they are extremely comfortable. Can't wait for winter so she can wear. I did order a size down because they do run extremely big. They still are a little big on her, but I always make sure that her feet have room to grow so she can wear though the whole season.a

Overall the boots are adorable. I would rate them a five based on quality and looks. And being able to buy the youth sizes (because they run extremely large) saved me more than 50% compared to adult pricing. However, as others have mentioned in their reviews, they run large. Very large! I am a woman's 6. I originally ordered a 5. I figured due to the material and reviews they may stretch a little. The 5 was huge! A friend of mine who wears a woman's 7.5 said they were a little loose on her. I exchanged them for the 4 which fit much better. Still a little more roomy than I'd prefer but I'm afraid to go a whole size smaller. Also I really love the look but don't love the price of the adult version. If they came in half sizes I would have went down one. I suggest ordering 2 to 2.5 sizes smaller than you would normally for a child or woman.

I wear a woman's size 8 and my foot is 24.7 millimeters long. I asked to check the insole sizing of the 6 and 7 youth, which I was told were 25 millimeters and 27.5 millimeters respectively. I ordered the 6, expecting them to be a little tight but not bad. When they arrived they were GIANT! I measured the insole myself and the youth 6 is closer to 27.5-28 millimeters. No where near a 25 millimeter measurement. My fiance who wears a mens 10 wide can get his foot in them, and while they are a little tight, they fit him - his foot measures 28 millimeters. So in short, a youth 6 somehow would fit a MEN's 9 - 9.5 comfortably. Id say thats way off, and way off from even what I was told when I inquired before ordering in hopes to avoid this issue to start. These are NOT children's sizes or youth sizes. I was really excited about these, but they look like clown shoes on me sadly :( Hopefully the 5 will fit, and I am waiting on an insole measurement for that, though at this point, who knows how accurate that will be. Not thrilled I now have to exchange these when that was the point of asking for the insole measurement to start. I give 2 stars because they are cute, but otherwise Id give them 1-2 none for the sizing headache these are causing and the slow replies with CS.
