Incredible temp regulation without bulk. Not itchy and cut for athletic build but would probably stretch a little. I wasn't sure about the hoodie portion when I ordered but it is a big plus on the mountain. Fits snugly and I wore it instead of a helmet liner and balaclava to keep my neck and head warm. Worked great without the bulk. If all smartwool is like this one, I'm hooked.

But so far the best use was wearing it to shovel out after the blizzard hit the northeast, it allows very good mobility and warmth without the bulk.
