    I'm usually a 6, ordered an 8 as I wanted them a bit "slouchy". They were anything but slouchy. They were very snug and I probably would've needed to go up at least to a 10 to get the fit I wanted. Shorts seemed good quality, but they didn't fit like I had expected from Columbia.

    Love these, I'am usually a size 8 but had to go to a 10 with these shorts (I think Columbia is generally small). Lightweight and short enough for hiking in hot climate.

    I normally wear an 8 or 10. I purchased these shorts in a size 10 and they are really tight, especially in the rear area. I own other Columbia shorts in size 10 and they are loose. If you are ordering, I would suggest ordering maybe two sizes up.
