First off, let me say that as far as the Columbia Silver Ridge shirts, there are two distinctly different shirts, according to material color. I first bought a Columbia Silver Ridge shirt in the Marsh Mini Check color. I absolutely love the material, it comes out of the drier looking great…and I a... Read More

light-wieight, breathable, looks good, true to size.

I have five of these and they are excellent lightweight shirts for hiking. Wiking and ventilation is great. Lots of little details. Highly recommended for hiking or traveling.

These are great travel shirts, lightweight and the Omni-Wick® really does keep you cool even in the sun. But, I agree with the other reviewer about the pilling. I have two plaid patterned shirts, so the pilling isn't too noticeable, but I docked it two stars for that.

    • Answer 53% Poly, 43% supplex nylon

    • Answer This is a great looking shirt, though it fits a bit large (I ordered a small, am 5'7'' and it is still a little larger than I would prefer), but not so large that it makes a huge difference. Also, the fabric is definitely very lightweight, and see this as being a great moisture-wicking shirt for when I am on my thru-hike of the AT this summer. My biggest concern is the durability of such a lightweight shirt, especially at the cost of the shirt. I will gladly write another review in the fall when I return from the trail to let you know how it held up.
