The Smartwool PhD are my favorite socks. Very durable. They do shrink a bit so I buy up one size.

i wear smartwool socks every day. I use the black sock liners as work socks. The merino wool wicks moisture effectively and keeps my feet warm during long espouse to cool temperatures. The ultra light micro socks I use for running and hiking for the same reasons.

If I could afford to have a pair of smartwool socks for every day of the week, I would. I can nearly do that with my winter socks, but they're just too warm for summer. It's so difficult going from wearing light smartwool socks all winter to normal cotton socks during the spring/summer. So I bought three pair of these ultralight micro socks. They're great! They're nice and light without feeling like they could rip at any moment. They breath well, fit great, and feel awesome. In a few months I plan on getting another couple pair... My only question is, why did they come with a sticker and writing on the sock that says "Irregular"? The writing on the sock wore off after two washes. They don't feel or look any different to me, so I'm completely loss as to what the "Irregular" means.

I wear wool socks all year around since they are great. This style and weight - not top mention the color- will be great for the spring and into the summer. Believe it or not, you feet stay dry in wool, even when it is hot our and Smart Woo; sols feel more like woven cotton.

Smartwool products are always well made, true to size and comfortable. No exceptions here. I buy these things 3-4 pairs at a time for a reason. Well, three reasons as mentioned in the first sentence.

I ordered 4 pair of these socks in Medium. I were an 8.5 Asic running shoe. The socks barely cover the back of my heel. If they stretch out from wear the socks will be useless. They have no padding quality
