Can't go wrong with these! I love to wear these in the winter with a vest for casual wear. Keeps me toasty without overheating and no bulk! Fairly soft too - no itch! I bought two crew neck styles and this one. Should get me through these rainy/cold northwest winters.

Loved the magenta color. I have a terrible time staying warm in chilly weather. This top keeps me toasty all day.

I live in a coastal suburb in Los Angeles where, due to insufficient insulation, my home feels colder indoors than outdoors in the winter. Granted, it's never really that cold here compared to the rest of the country, but when you're indoors and sitting around not moving much, 61 degrees F can start to make you wish you had a balaclava to put on -- and I mean that literally: my eyeballs start to get that chilled feeling. So anyway, this midweight zip-neck pullover has been seriously the best thing I ever got myself to deal with sitting inside a cold, cold house. It's a perfect first layer -- thick enough to feel substantial and keep out the chilly air but not too thick that you feel stiff and suffocated, and yet thin enough to encourage a second layer to really seal in the warmth. It isn't skintight, so I don't feel embarrassed (I don't really like showing every lump and curve), but it's clingy enough that, as I said, it shuts out any cold air. Also, it's really a flattering look. I love this shirt so much and I'm going to wear it every day this winter. Actually, I have been doing so ever since I got it a couple weeks ago.

Bought this as a base layer for skiing and snowshoeing during our cold New England weather. Nice stretch esp. in the shoulders. Nice long sleeves without a thumbhole. Neck is not too tight.
