We especially like the height to keep the snow out! They bungee laces seem "cool" but they are a bit of a hassle. Bought big for next season and "socks/padding" so not sure about the fit, yet.

Reviewed by letpeaceprevail from Potlatch, ID on Saturday, February 23, 2013My 10 year old daughter and I both thought these were very cute, but she didn't feel that she could tighten them sufficiently (because the elasticized lacing wasn't long enough to allow her to pull it out to tighten?). She is a very active girl, so they need to be able to keep up with her. I was a little skeptical about how durable the fabric on the sides of the boot would be, but I was willing to trust Teva, if she liked them. (She chose an alternative pair.) They are also pleasantly lightweight, compared to most other boots labeled "waterproof," which would have been nice.

Glad I went up the extra size. They are super cute boots but slightly difficult to get on. Great with leggings, but jeans tend to get bunched up because there aren't any laces. Overall a warm boot that my daughter loves.
