However, the elastic top is sewn with a semi-ruffle which causes the socks to roll down my leg. Often I find the socks have rolled down to my ankle which is less than ideal.

Rather unconfortable seams. I would not buy them again. But they really are pretty, & maybe they will soften w/ repeated washings. The price was good, not worth sending them back.
