In general SmartWool products are fabulous and therefore, for one to be considered a "2nd", the abnormality is so minute, why buy "1sts". These fit great , I am an adult woman and wear a size 6.5 US size of most all athletic shoes (Merrell, Asics, Keen) and because I have a shallow heel and narrow heel with a normal size toe box, SmartWool kids, particularly boys, fit me better than the adults. The cushioned sole is just the right amount, they are warm, comfortable, wash beautifully!
