I bought a pair of these tights, and liked them so much I went back and bought the other 2 colors. I like footless tights because I can wear them with socks (in boots) without material bunching on my feet. Sizing: I typically wear a size 4, and the small fits me perfectly. I'm not particularly ta...

Last year I bought my first pair of these smartwool footless tights for a ski trip. I wanted extra warmth and this was my first layer of defense for the cold in Montana's Mountains. I loved them. They were so warm and fit great.
So, I bought a second pair. I can only recommend these for anyone wanting to have extra warmth under their pants, since I am not wearing skirts or dresses in the winter time, but I am certain that it would keep your legs warm even if they were exposed to some fresh air.

I bought these tights but found them a bit itchy (I'm really sensitive) so gave them to my sister. She's 5'11.5" (145lbs) and they are perfect for her -- length is great. She does not find them itchy at all.

Wow, these are a really fashionable tight/legging. I really like that they are footless so I can choose which socks to wear underneath. Perfect for wearing with a skirt. Break all the boys necks with these tights!

These are great Smartwool quality. I purchased medium. They were too small for me at 5'7" and 130 ponds. I kept them and passed them on to my daughter for a base layer when skiing. If I ordered again, I'd order large.

No, the ankle cuff is only slightly thicker than the tights, is 1 inch wide and knitted in one piece with the tights. It is not a stitched on cuff. And, atleast for me, the tights are itch-free as advertised

They do not have a thick cuff but do not ride up. These are beautiful tights, fit well & do not sag.

these run small. a large was required for my friend who weighs around 125 and is 5'4" maybe. the medium was too tight . hope that helps.

I am 5'2", weigh about 130 lbs and ordered the medium which fit well. My thought is that since you are taller than I am you are more slender and the medium would fit you. I love mine. I have worn them about three times a week for skiing since I received and the fit and shape are still like new. Most importantly, the tights don't itch. Hope this helps.

I would order up one size from your regular. Their length is standard, but they run small in circumference. Your regular size could be too snug, unless you have very slender legs.

I would suggest ordering the large. The medium are not going to be long enough. I'm 5'4. and while I can wear the medium, I'm actually more comfortable in the large, even though the legs are a little too long for me

I found these to be very small. I wear a size 10. I bought a large and they were really small. I am not sure if they would fit you at all. They were so nice but I had to return mine.. Good luck. The wool is lovely as always.
