Reviewed by traveling queen from milwaukee on Friday, May 03, 2013Bought this for spring biking. Highly visible and moves with you. Long enough to cover your back when you pedal hunched over. Great against rain. Probably too hot for summer, but nice fabric to keep wind and weather away.

This jacket is very soft and packable, but has the features you need to protect you from the rain, and keep you from getting too hot as you cycle. This runs small, so get a size larger than you usually take. I wish this model had front pockets, but I wouldn't want to pay the higher price of a different model just for front pockets. Very well-made; a great brand!

The rain came through and the jacket became wet on the inside. No not from sweat either because I used the hood on top of my helmet too and the damp was coming through onto my hair. I love the feel of the material and the colour I just wish it did what it said - keep me dry. Really disappointed.

I bike with a group of 6-8 women on curvy country roads and sometimes on the highways where there is moderate traffic. The yellow shows up readily and offers a safety factor. Pearl Izumi runs small so I ordered one size up and it fit.
