i LOVE Timbuk2 products. Great quality.
this Backpack is no exception. However, I love all the extras Timbuk2 usually puts into it's products, and this didn't have much. I sent it back and am waiting for a more feature filled pack to arrive at STP for me to buy!

I've been purchasing Timbuk2 bags now for about 10 years. They are really high quality and last to the point that the only one I've had to give up so far was due to a territory battle between two cats, not wear and tear. I generally use the messenger bags and have a couple of their duffel bags as well. I have steered clear of backpacks up to this point, but check Sierratradingpost every so often to see what Timbuk2 products they get in. I decided it was time to get a backpack and for the price how could I not? Well let me tell you, this pack makes me want to go out and do stuff just so I can put it to use. As are all of their products, it's very well made and inventive. Lots of need features and smart ideas like the expandable front pocket. And it looks so cool it rubs off a little on you as you wear it, like no urban adventure is too great. After using this a few times, I decided to buy another one just so I can beat up and still have another to keep nice for other use. I highly recommend this bag! Get one before they are gone!!!

This bag is has great organization features, particularly the strap that holds a helmet, but unfortunately the shoulder straps are just too uncomfortable. The straps are close together at the top, and they press against the neck, which would be a problem on long bike rides. I'm a woman with a fairly small neck, and they even pinched my neck. Another downside is that the bag is not water-resistant enough for regular bike commuting. Too bad, because I was really hoping that this would be a great bag.

I like this backpack-its just about the right size for every type of trip-like the fact the you can fit your bike helmet in the front or a pair of shoes or sweatshirt-clever idea

A heavy bag of groceries or beer rests comfortable distributing the weight so there is no strain or neck discomfort. I am so pleased with this pack I want to stuff stuff into it just because. Oh, and the cell, notepad and pen/odd items zip out is an awesome addition.
