Great quality camera bag that can also be used as a carry bag for work because it has a removable camera insert bag for added protection.

The charm of the Snoop is it doesn't look like a camera bag. Instead, it looks like a bike messenger, allowing photographers to travel incognito.

The Snoop has an endearing urban street style of its own. It's based on the 2013 Timbuk2 Classic Messenger and shares its basic features: rugged exterior, 2" nylon strap webbing, TPU liner, slash pocket and quick adjust CAM buckle. The Classic's interior organizer was omitted, probably to avoid crowding the camera insert. The ballistic nylon exterior is tough and can handle spills from a bike or resist a downpour. Snoop has unique features to make it a better camera bag: flap wings to repel rain, slightly deeper main compartment, padded grab handle and removable camera insert.

CAMERA INSERT: The Snoop insert offers very good protection--thin foam padding on walls and thick foam on the bottom--without making the bag bulky. The interior is lined with soft tricot fabric and is easy on camera delicates. The two main partitions are secured by velcro and are easy to reposition to fit your gear. The x-small Snoop is surprisingly roomy and takes my 6D and EF 24-105 4L IS USM lens down in the center, a small lens and flash. Unlike a normal camera bag, the Snoop is modular and you can remove the insert for standard messenger use.

This is a messenger bag designed to be worn sling style high on your back, making it stable and comfortable to move quickly with. Even without a shoulder pad the wide 2-inch webbing is secure and distributes bag weight nicely across chest and shoulder. Snoop's slim profile is surprisingly comfy since it conforms to body contours, making it easy to needle through crowds and narrow bike paths.

The Snoop is convenient to shoot from, but you need to swing and drop the bag from biking position so you can pull out gear. The Cam buckle "remembers" your prior setting so it only takes a second to drop the bag or resume biking strap length.

NITPICKS: The front pockets are tight and barely able to hold anything save for memory cards. Also, the shoulder pad is stiff, slippery and doesn't wrap around the shoulder well. I found the 2-inch webbing comfy enough to toss the shoulder pad and rode for months without one. Eventually I found a comfortable pad, the Timbuk2 Deluxe Messenger Bag Strap Pad. I couldn't be more pleased with mine.

FINAL BLURB: The Snoop is a wonderful bag optimized for the needs of shooters into running, hiking, motorcycles or bicycles. Overall, a nice bag that makes me look like a random school boy on a bike rather than a camera geek.

Incidentally, Timbuk2 downgraded the straps for both the 2014 XS and S Snoop from 2-inch to 1.5 inch straps. If you carry heavy loads you should snap up a 2013 XS or S Snoop before they sell out.

Would love this bag except they keep sending me a small instead of an extra small. I even called and they assured me it is an extra small as they had someone measure but the replacement is still a size small (even the stickers and tags says it is a small). The small is just too wide/big for my frame and my needs. Wonder if the 3rd one will result in getting the right size. So disappointed

It's not a big bag but does allow to carry the essentials. Would recommend
