Worked well in tests carrying snowboard while walking, and skateboarding with the pack fully loaded.
Gear fit well into pack. I still have to refer to the docs for how to use all the straps and attachments.

Have yet not had the chance to try it out in the slopes, this is my first imprssion:

    + Looks good and solid
+ Not so many loose straps as my dakine heli pro (it has straps everywhere)
+ velcro to help tie up the end of the straps, if not needed
+ quite wide, which also makes it flat

    - quite heavy, due to back protection
    - back protection is not removable

This has some great features but the back pad protection makes it weigh a ton. Well, maybe 1/2 a ton.
