We have a chalet style home, built in a lake community. I purchased these snow shows for our bedroom after seeing similar things out at Antique Shops. The real antique snow shows were almost falling apart and sometimes over 300.00. So, when I saw these on STP - and on sale, I had to get them. They really do look authentic - I just love them. They do not come criss-crossed - so I had to figure out a way to keep them together and hang. I used some brown twine to connect the shoes, then used one nail to hang - and just a small straight pin to hold the bottom in place.

Impossible to tell these are reproductions. I have about 8 pair of antique snowshoes, including a pair that are of this same design, and these are indistinguishable from those. Excellent, authentic workmanship and design; would probably make good working snowshoes!
