Most Helpful 5-Star Review

I was looking for a replacement jacket for my Arcteryx Stingray. The Stingray is a little boxy for me and a bit short at the waist. I am almost 6'2" and about 205lb ( ordered XL). I have been looking for a while now and I have found the perfect jacket. The Marmot Cerro Torre is awesome! GoreTex Pro,... Read More

Definitely well made and of the highest quality. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because the chin flap tends to wrinkle a bit, so when you want comfort against your face for a long lift ride, you sometimes have to work for it. I would definitely buy again, though; another great product for a great deal from STP. I'm 215, 5' 11" and the XL gives me room for a puffy or multiple layers but the shell is still lightweight and doesn't feel bulky or restrict movement. Great shell!

The durability of this jacket is awesome. Nice fit and sleek design, yet rugged enough for a boater in Southeast Alaska.

Have not been able to use in its intended weather however I assume Gore Pro will handle nicely. Construction feels very high quality and is heavier than other shells, which I prefer. Zipper pulls are small and could be tough with mittens. Fit is not overly "athletic" and will allow layering with down or fleece. Ordered a medium as I am 6' 1" and 155 pounds. It was gigantic so returned for the small (love STP's return policy!) and it fits perfect. Lastly, the blue is quite bright.

Ordered five ski jackets and this one is the winner. The looks are amazing, got the blue jacket and it is a great shade of blue. The fabric on the shoulders and backs of the arms does stretch, very comfortable jacket. The feature that sold this one over the others is the hood and especially the collar. When dressed for skiing, with heavy fleece or puffy underneath, and helmet and goggles, the hood fits perfectly. Your motion is not encumbered, and with the jacket zipped all the way up, the lower half of your face is completely protected. Cannot wait to try that feature out when it is dumping a foot an hour and the wind is blowing on the Wildcat lift, I will be grinning!!!!

I am female (tall, slim with long arms) and ordered this jacket in the men's small. Arms were plenty long enough as well as a nice length on the body. Great full featured jacket without the weight. The hood fits well with a helmet and the fleece chin guard is cosy against the skin (a must for winter).
