Delighted with these boots, don't seem to be able to find an equivalent in the UK. I carefully read product details and noted the guidance to order a half size bigger. Glad I did. I was also unsure whether I needed a medium or wide width, so played safe and went wide, again, good decision. Boots ar... Read More

Well, I should have listened to all the reviews on these boots. I couldn't even get my foot down past the boot's ankle. They are nice boots and seemed well constructed, but unfortunately because of the tight fit, they had to go back.

I purchased these because of the 1000gram Thinsulate and Gore-Tex. The combination absolutely works here in Alaska. The first pair ordered was 1/2 size larger (as recommended by STP) and in a wide-width. The first pair I received seemed to indicate the boots were manufactured at the Twix candy bar company... separate companies supposedly making identical products. Although the left and right boot indicated the right size, they were visually different in most aspects and they fit completely different (could hardly get the left boot on). I returned the boots and ordered a whole size up (from 11 to 12). LOVE THEM! I would love to be able to try on another pair of matched 11 1/2 boots to see if they fit a little better, but a good thick wool sock will be fine with the size 12. I can't even begin to explain how warm these boots are... If it's above 30F, my feet sweat too much. Overall, great boot.

I ordered these for outside work on the farm. So far they're great! Super comfortable and rugged at the same time. I expect a long life out of these puppies. I went with a half size bigger as suggested but stayed with my normal width which came out to a perfect fit (I'm a size 9 with a skinny width). The only reason I didn't give 5*s is that they are super bulky bit with the insulation I guess it's expected

wear 11.5 ordered 12 and the boot fits snug but should loosen with wear. looking forward to wearing this winter. attractive and functional; I really wanted a slip on boot. boot does have wide shaft so boot cut pants may be needed.

I like Wellingtons because I am too lazy to lace boots and usually in a hurry.

So, fit is important to prevent the boots from coming off too easily. These seem to run a bit small. Because I wear heavy socks, I ordered a half size larger, and went from medium width to wide width.

I have not worn these very much yet, since they are cold weather boots. Construction appears to be very good. I usually get 3 or 4 years out of a pair of boots, and I expect at least that long from these.

Since winters here can easily go below zero and snow can be heavy, boots with good insulation and being waterproof are critical. These Wellington s fill the bill. On sale, these were under $100, which is a great price for a quality boot.

These would be 5 star boots if the sizing had been more accurate and if they had a single pull loop at the back of the boot instead of a pull loop on either side.
