Its a comfort to know I can go the field this fall in search of my monster bull armed with my muzzle loader and decent clothes suited to inclement weather. Who knows what an hour will bring in weather change? It could be 80 degrees and one hour later we may be facing marble sized hail, and torrents of rain or a blizzard. The Browning Deluge HMX jacket gives the assurance you'll stay dry enough till you find shelter.
The jacket has a nice pouch to place it in. It fits true to size. Please note this is not a jacket meant for warmth as much as an outer shell that covers a wool shirt, a down vest, etc.

Four stars only because I've owned it less than a week and have no idea of durability. This is a lightweight, soft surface (quiet) shell.
Bought this and two days later wore it in an all day, cold, windy rainstorm. Lightweight, so need fleece layers under it, but I stayed dry. Should also be fine for summer use in warm weather. Couple of minor quibbles: 1) Rain flap is under the front zipper, not over it, or one on each side of zipper. Makes it somewhat clumsy to zip, but the seal is fine. 2) pocket zippers can catch because of sealing, but again, they work fine. 3) Hood works well when up, but covers lower face as well; no "collar" on the jacket. When hood is down, it catches rain, as there is no way to fold it up. I wore it with a bucket style hat, so my ears were exposed and I could hear sounds around me, as well as turn my head easily. An external collar, and some way of folding the hood would have made it more comfortable.
All that said, if it is durable, I would not hesitate to buy it again. Great rain shell, and quiet.
