I've purchased many expensive knife sharpeners over the years and have found them difficult to and to store use but this sharpener is very effective and easy to store. I love it!

Regardless of price, all sharpeners are just crossed ceramic rods or carbide steel bars, unless you like to fiddle about with whet stones and sharpening steels, so an inexpensive one yields the same results as a pricy one. This one sharpens well and is well designed. It works wonders on my scissors. At dealflyer prices of two bucks and change, buy a bunch for friends and family!
