I bought a bunch of these for my kids. They love them! They look nice and very comfortable. Seems true to size. They use these shoes pretty much everywhere they go (hiking, running, walking, wading, climbing, etc.).

These shoes are very supportive and durable. My child uses them as sneakers and wears them all the time. They wear like iron and give a lot of support. The only downside is that the "laces" tend to snap and need to be replaced.

My son who is rough on shoes has worn these for 2 months now and they are holding up so well. The sole wears very well. So please I'm purchasing another pair. You won't be disappointed.

A bit stiff but my son really likes them.

My boys needed new school shoes. They are fantistic for school, since no shoe tying:) They seem to be great after 2 days of wear. They haven't complained yet.

I got these for my five-year-old son as he ramps up for another school year. We purchased a size larger than he currently wears because the STP sale was so strong that we were ok in waiting for him to grow into them.

The Zandas are VERY well made, and the cushioning appears to be enough to get him through "wellness" class as well as to allow him to manage the playground. The soles appear solid enough to make it more likely that he will grow out of them than wear out the heels. The black fabric with blue accents appears to go with pretty much anything in his wardrobe.

At full price, this is a school show for The One Percenters. At STP price, it was right in my wheelhouse. Looking forward to an active and fun school year!

    • Answer These shoes do have arch support. For really high arches it may not be sufficient, but should be fine for normal arch support.

    • Answer Yes! My child has had four pairs of these shoes in increasingly larger sizes. They have a ton of support and the ability to cinch the "laces" up to increase support. We were told about Chaco shoes by our doctor as a way to deal with foot and leg pain.

    • Answer Yes, I checked my daughter's shoes and they seem reinforced in the arch area. They are not very high in the arch, but are definitely not flat and provide better support than her running shoes.

    • Answer As far as I can tell they seem to have the Chaco arch support. The insoles are completely stitched in so I can't tell by pulling them out. My kids can't really give me that kind of feedback (too young). I am going off of looking at the inside of the shoe with a flashlight and running my hand inside the shoe. I compared the feel to their sandals and some other non-Chaco shoes and the they feel comparable to the sandals and more support then other brands of high quality athletic shoes.

    • Answer Hi there. I bought full size larger and they were roomy. I would suggest from my experience to buy 1/2 to full size to get at leSt 2 seasons.

    • Answer My son is a size 1 and the size 1 fits him perfectly, they seem to be true to size. Even if you buy a 3 and they're a little big your boy will be in them within a few months anyway (ah, how they grow) and they are really nice shoes. My son has been wearing his for a couple months now and they're great.
