I love Chacos--I won't buy anything else, unless I have to (like running shoes). These boots are rather plain Jane, as another reviewer mentioned, but they are perfect for wearing under your jeans every day. They have the lower profile, Ecotread bottoms (that I prefer)--very flexible while still won...

These are my second pair of Darcy boots. The first were so comfy right out of the box -- wearing them all day in the city -- that I bought a brown pair. It's the arch support, I don't have to use my extra arch insoles so I can wear any kind of socks with these boots that I want. I am looking forward to years of use. My feet are very happy now that I've discovered Chaco's.

I returned the boots I received due to the fact that they were too large. I wear a 10 1/2 but needed to order a 10. I saw a different style Chaco waterproof boot that I liked better so I ordered that one instead and this time ordered a size 10. Otherwise the Darcy boot did feel comfortable when I tried it on and felt like it would be a great work boot for me in my occupation as a shuttle driver.

I liked these boots a lot. I kept them for over a week and wore them around the house with my orthotics in them. At first, the front of the top part of the boot was rubbing on the front of my leg and that was bothersome. I got used to that after a while. I had also ordered the Romika boots with the wool cuff and I was comparing them. Romika won out- both in comfort and style.

Cute, comfortable, waterproof. I wanted to make them my rainy season commuters but they were just slightly narrow on my (larger) right foot. Sad to send back. I think these would work for average width feet.
