I nearly panicked when I tried these on for the first time. As most of us do, I read all the reviews before ordering a 1/2 size smaller than my regular size. I normally wear a 10D, so I ordered these in 9.5D. At first, I couldn't get my foot in the shoe. So, I pulled up on the tongue while inching m... Read More

These are the boots my husband has been looking for. He says they are true to size wearing a a sturdy sock, extremely comfortable, great grip and stylish. Hope Chaco continues to make this style.

Wow. Great comfortable boot. Bought these hoping the footbed would be the same as my 2 pairs of Chaco sandals and these did not disappoint. My feet feel great wearing these and they have become my go to shoe because of it. Sizing runs true. Wish they weren't suede, but hey great price on some great supportive shoes!

My husband loves these shoes. We ordered the larger of the two sizes he usually wears and it's a perfect fit. Dressy enough for church but comfortable enough for everyday.

True to size, a little heavy, and yes, the arch is high.

  • Question “Is the inside lined, as sheepskin shoes are?

    Richard Weissman”

Asked on 12/1/2013 8:11:16 PM by Duckhead from Colorado
    • Answer No
Answered on 12/2/2013 8:30:42 AM by Josh in AR from Arkansas
    • Answer Hi there! Apologies it took me a long time to respond to the question! My husband works as a truck driver and he was away for a while, so I wasn't able to ask him about the shoes until recently. He said that he thinks the Chaco Otis Chukka boots weren't heavily lined, only had a light lining. Definitely not sheepskin type material. They weren't as warm as he'd like, so he exchanged them for the Chaco Dundas boots instead, which have a fleece lining and are warmer (no sheepskin lining, but a warm fleece material instead). He said both pairs were very comfortable, but went with the warmer ones. Hope this helps! Happy holidays!
