I just wore these gaiters on a 25 mile, rocky, dirty, tough trail (The Devil's Path, Catskills, NY) and they performed really well. I previously had a pretty regular problem with dirt getting into my boots. These gaiters completely solved the issue.

The gaiters were enough protection while doing extensive hiking in areas of high rainfall and
boggy ground. Would not recommend for serious weather conditions, and the gaiters are
    correctly advertised to avoid such.

Easy to pack, secure foot strap.

Really keeps those nasty foxtails & other fall weeds out

I used these for trail running in the mud and snow and they do perfectly well. They are a bit difficult to get on because the large velcro strip kept sticking and pulling at my pants, but once on they were comfortable and I didn't notice them messing with my shoes. I just need some waterproof running pants now!

I haven’t used them yet but they look sturdy and were a good value
